I'm Too Busy Woman-ing: Self-Care Edition

Yaass Sis! I’m too busy woman-ing! With this opening to this blog you already know to sit back and get your favorite drink that you like to sip on and just hang out with ya girl for a few minutes. If nothing else this will give you a few moments to chuckle and just “BE”.

I really hate to admit this but sometimes we are too busy trying to prove ourselves, get some coins, look the part and just be doing too much for everyone else which doesn’t leave room to woman. Yes “woman” is a verb and its hard damn work if you’re too busy with all the outside noise. I don’t know who may have told you differently but I’m here to let you know that truly processing life’s many lessons and blessings will take some focus. It has shined a light on the realization that woman-ing is a verb. This verb should come natural to us, but this world has fed us some really screwed up narratives that now it’s more of a chore like we have to make time to “woman”.

What that means is we do a lot of neglecting ourselves. We put others needs before our own which depletes us. You wonder why you feel drained, when you look around it appears nothing has been done. Guess what? A lot has been done you’ve been busy solving other people problems, flossing on social media and you haven’t even taken a moment to check in with you.

Did you take a moment just to “BE”? Take a breath in and release it, do nothing and think about not a damn thing. Just simply love on you. You have permission to unplug and check in with you. Woman-ing is an invisible job that’s not meant for others to partake in. It’s your relationship with yourself so that you can connect back to that natural verb that you are. “It’s hard being a woman” is the narrative we hear consistently so that’s what we feel our truth is. Being a woman is the most natural form of who we were created to be. I am no longer sacrificing who I am, to be on the scene, to fit in, to feel included, etc. Mental pauses and breaks are my new norm. Loving me more, not feeing drained, re-energizing, praying more, waiting on divine instructions is what I’m striving for.

Money is always flowing because I’ve shifted my perception of my priorities.

It’s time to get selfish and find out who you really are. Trust me, it’s connecting to something that won’t stop nagging you in your spirit but sis you gotta start woman-ing to truly connect with it. Eff all this other unnecessary ish that’s not helping you get to the better of your life. I don’t want to have a bank account full of money and be depressed. Sign me up for an overflowing bank account, glowing skin, positive high vibrating vibes, spiritual connection and freedom of time.

Bottom line is it’s amazing to be an entrepreneur but it’s phenomenal to really be in the flow of who you truly are which will give you “mind blowing” strategies for your business/life and make all that resistance disappear and abundance and prosperity to flow to you. Who wouldn't want some of THAT!
